Let’s Make Up A Record So We Can Break It

The good people of Southampton, England must have wanted to break a world record in the worst kind of way.

They searched long and hard and finally came up with “the longest chain of people to pass throught a hula hoop“. Then they rounded up the junior high school kids and a few other neighbors and teachers for a total of 364, and the record was theirs.

Believe it or not, they weren’t just setting a record, they were breaking one. The prior record (249 people) was set earlier this year in Ohio.
