Hooping Moves

Forward stance: A basic hooping move, place one foot in front of the other, push forward with your abs and back muscles, keeping the hoop around the body

Vortex: Place the hoop around your waist, and let the hoop reach up and down the body in a move that appears to be an illusion.

Side stance: Loosen your knees and and tuck in your bottom, and use side-to-side movements that work the leg and abdominal muscles

Earth Angel: Stand on your toes with the hoop angled upward. Arch your back and use a thrusting movement to keep the hoop moving around your body.

Bling Fling: Using a tape decorated with metallic hoop tape, blind your hoopmates by swinging the hoop around your hips while sunlight reflects off the hoop.
